SO the pictures of crowds arent a proof? If the english are angles transplants why they dont look as a whole like danish people?.

They don't look like Danes because they're not Danish, they're a MIX of Danish (and other Germanic) with the autochthonous population. It's not "either-or", it's "both-and". How many times do we have to explain it to you? They're hybrids!

My point with the thread was, nowhere in the UK the majority of the population look overwhelming germanic (be it like angles/saxons/vikings, etc) in some areas they look almost pure ancient brythonic (like wales, southern and western areas of england, most of scotland and Ireland) meanwhile in other areas they look more like a mix, such asnorth east england, southern west scotland, parts in western Ireland.
I agree with Traveller, most Brits look non-descript Europeans that could be from anywhere in Western Europe, there are strong regional variations..and that Miss Welsh in the pic is as representative as a black Chinese.
Some Americans think that all the people living in one place in Europe are ethnically from that region, ignoring the fact of vast internal migrations, so in Wales you have people from all around.
Of course there are Brits that look like Beckham, but they are a scant minority, as to the "Nordic" blahhh....Most of the British stock (80 percent or more) predates Germanic invasions after the withdrawal of Romans.
As to the fact that somebody with possibly imaginary British remote ancestors defends the "aryaness" of Brits, it just goes over me.

Pardillo that is a ridiculous comment about Miss Wales. How is she as representative as a black Chinese. In what way is she unrepresentative? She is a Welsh girl for god's sake.

I was talking about Welsh, most Welsh, and I see plenty of them on a daily basis, aren't like that girl at all.
A lot of girls in these competitions are attractive looking girls. There are a variety of looks in most countries. Miss Wales doesn't look like she is not Welsh to me. She is from North Wales and is Welsh.
She might be Welsh, but not representative. It would be like electing a redhaired Spanish girl, there are a bunch but are not representative.gl
