The thing is Bernie just like Kate Winslet EVERY Britain has a mixed ancestry yet this is something Saxonwold appears unable to understand, he seems to think that Britain's are some kind of Saxon 'pure breed' and that they are somehow different to other Europeans.

If you go back 20 generations you have about 2 million or so direct ancestors - I would say that the chance that every one of them is pure Anglo Saxon or in fact 'pure' anything is around nil? Therefore every Britain is a 'mix' just like every other European don't you think?

It would be true if all our ancestors in our family trees did not had any ancestor in common, which is not the case. You forget the fact that in a not so long past in Europe people used to live in same villages or close area for generations, and before used to live in small clans or tribes.
People we all more or less close or more distant cousins. Actually we don't have 2 million ancestors 20 genertions ago for the simple reasons that in a genealogic tree we find the same persons in different branches; the more we go far in a genealogic tree the more we find the same persons in many different branches, because our different branches are actually cousins even if not knowing it.
Thinking in a pure mathematical way is not realistic to knwo the number of ancestors you have, because mathematically if we calculate this way for each generations for, say, oly 40 generations, we should conclude each one of us have on thousand billion ancestors living at that time... Which would be thousands of times more than the actual population living back then.
To come back to the original subject, nowadays "Anglo-Saxon" is just a linguistic/cultural group based on a the English language, not a race nor a specific genetic entity. Even the original Angles and Saxons were not a race btw.
It's mostly about culture, lifestyle and national character NOT about hair colour or genetics FFS!!!!

Write where I said tall and lighthaired is better, all I said is pointing out the british are not germanic in their majority, if most people find hard to believe that, Its not my problem.
Also you can talk of the ethnic european group you want, and so many nations in the world are more closer to europe culturally-wise than the US is, so It would automatically privates all the majority of american users here to even give an opinion.
Read in this forum, did I insult someone ? The closest to insult was bringing the stats of high teenage pregnancy and violence among british youth. They behave much worse than any other europeans during holiday.

In the case your claims would be accurate, why would It be self hate? You can like whoever you want, In fact I find it more valid for someone outside certain nationality/culture/ethnic group to praise other, because Its usually more objetive opinion rather than somoene just being chauvinism and patriotism which are often the reasons why most people usually defend their own cultures/ethnic groups.

If you equal brits = non-germanic then you might be somewhere close. And Its a fact, British people have the worst behavior in all europe, Its well known in all holiday places across Europe.
