There has always been a myth about british people, specially the english being direct descendants of scandinavians and continental germanic peoples, which in my visit to the Uk does nothing but reveal how much untrue it is.
The overwhelming majority of brits, and even the english are descendants from old substrata of pre-germanic and pre-celtic origin populations whom already unhabitated the atlantic shores of europe way long before than the modern germanic/nordic peoples migrated from central asia to european lands.
If the english were so germanic then why the bulk of british population look so different from scandinavians, dutch or germans?

The english are far from being germanic, It was just an agenda created by colonial white americans who tried to justify white supremacism in old colonial america, such as benjamin franklin.
Americans seem to get annoyed when someone speaks truth about the real origin of british Islanders, because they have to defend their whiteness to all cost (considering vast majority of white americans have tons of colonial british blood), but like that silly concept of whiteness is alien to europe most brits dont give a damn about that and even embrace their older than previously assumed european origins.
The angles and saxons probably never returned to UK, most stayed in the continental side of the northern sea and the few ones who did it to the UK ruled and were of the higher castes hence influenced Britain linguistically and culturally, but the genes didnt dramatically change, not even in the more "germanic parts" of the uk such as eastern england and south-east scotland where still 70% of the autosomal dna comes from Old british lines.

The last commentary was directed to white american posters of mainly british ancestry such as saxonwould, who will as soon as possible reply to this thread and post as many pictures that are beyond of reach for human comprehension. There were a lot of american anthropologist on early 20 centuries who wrongly claimed on purpouse that the Brits and specially the english were nothing but scandinavian and germanic transplants, and that the old stock brythonic peoples were completly wiped out, which couldnt be further from the truth. Actually its the complete opposite.

You are fooling yourself, there's no question that Germanic had an impact on the British Isles especially England. However other British are Celtic and are fiercely proud of it, so what is point. This is probably the most ironic thing that I've read this weekend. I'm not quite sure how to should respond to someone who believes in debunked late 19th-early 20th century racial theories.
Why is this such an obsession for you? It seems like your whole life revolves around proving to yourself and others that British people are not really "Germanic" - even though it's an indisputable fact that they are. Is there something special about Germanic people? Suppose you're right (which you're not), why does it matter that British people are not Germanic? You're not British nor Germanic so why do you care?

Cherry picking the danish crowds and english crowds look nothing alike, english people overall are much darker and prehistoric european looking, they dont come from modern germanics/nordics who arrived from east asia. I also can post pictures from blond frenchmen like that, does it mean most frenchmen look like that? now
You will never be able to post a crowd of english who resemble the danish on those pictures
The facial features of that english player looks just english, he doesnt have facial fatures of the danish people I posted on the above pictures
