4213 is dead, they do not have the votes to pass it. No Republicans support this bill.

Let me guess, they are slowly trickling into DC and enjoying lavish breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with lobbyists and other Congressmen. Why would anyone want to spoil something so beautiful and pleasurable with trying to solve the nation's desperate problems?

2:00 p.m.: Convene and begin a period of morning business.
This is from jznomoney's link, check it out !

Thank you so much jz, OMheavens, I find this hilarious !
I guess I, too, will begin a period of morning business now, 2:32 pm.

Darn, too late, I got up at 4am, worrying about survival.
Well, tomorrow one shall convene at 2pm to begin the day, perhaps, lol.

Good update.

Does the new bill axe the $25 a week stimulus?

edit--answered my own question, it cuts the $25 a week. Oh well, it is what it is. If they have the votes I'll be happy to at least pay my bills and I'll just lose a lot of weight, to compensate. :P

Neither HR 5618 nor HR 4213 would extend the eligibility cut-off date for the FAC payment. However, although the eligibility cut-off date for the $25 weekly FAC payment has expired -- the program continues for those who had qualified beforehand.

If you filed a claim for regular unemployment benefits on or before May 23, 2010, you are still eligible to continue to collect the $25 weekly FAC payment through April 2011 (or until your last unemployment payment, whichever comes first).
