yes.. nothing happens unless it gets passed in the senate..and it's official the senate won't be back in session until the 12th. the bill will be waiting for the senate when they come back then

for people in nj, they know that it'll pass on the 12th..so to prevent problems, nj decided to move people to the next tier or to eb without making them wait for money..so good news for people in nj at least..people can claim the weeks they didn't get paid now and get a check

Seems kind of odd. What if something does happen where it doesn't pass. They're going to make people who are already strapped for cash and have spent it repay it?

i assume they'll switch it to eb and subtract what has already been taken..many people on here have been reporting this though..i can only report it next week because that will be the next time i claim a check

My thoughts exactly, because if the extensions do not pass, everyone will have to pay back the money...

NJ is telling you to claim as usual because if and when the bill passes it will be retroactive...unless you can move to EB..you will not get a check..and remember not everyone on unemployment is eligible for EB..
