The other day Las Vegas had its first rains in 8 months. Congrats, folks.

Colder in Florida than NYC at Christmas?

Checked yesterday and snow had really backed off and temps warmed up to 45 (for Christmas). Well, now it's back to chance of snow but less than an inch overnight with just a general "chance of snow showers" Christmas day. But now the high is back down to just 37. 24 Saturday morning.

Regardless I'm not hoping for much. Supposed to get over an inch of rain before anything changes over to snow.

-44C in Yellowknife yesterday, coldest official temperature in a long time.

To celebrate the occasion, some locals made a short video about how to exercise outdoors at -40C:

Is it harder to exercise at -40°F or -40°C?

Definitely -40°C is harder. Our average high is +40°C or warmer from mid June until the end of August, and outdoor exercise won't kill you here

I would have no clue as i have never had to deal with temps anywhere near that cold. You can't do anything in my my state in the summer without wanting to die from the insane heat and dew points. But if i had to pick super cold or my summers then my summers win.

That's a trick question though, because -40°C and -40°F are the exact same temperature

Yeah looks like they had their high at 11:59PM.

If they hadn’t of warmed throughout the day could of been a decently cold high temp.
