Why do you keep mentioning inland temps when you live on the coast? To try and make things seem worse than they are?

That would be like me mentioning temps in Big Bear when I'm in the IE

Depending on which meteorologist you believe Spring starts March 1 or March 6. I'm not a meteorologist, just an interested observer. I'll go with March 6.

Currently here, in Downeast Maine...
23F Degrees, Dew Point 8F Degrees, Winds WNW 14mph, Gusts 22mph, Mostly Clear...
Upon this Blue-skied day...
I blinked, and squinted at it's brightness!
Once again, the snow-laden Birch Meadows shone...
as the wildlife displayed it's show!
Blue Jays, Mourning Doves, Chickadees and Gross Beaks fed under the dual bird feeders...
Yet, I carefully treaded upon the Meadows to throw out feed!
Gary, the Grey Squirrel arrived to feast...
and both Charlie the Chipmonk and Sammy Acorn (the little Red Squirrel), joined in to frighten the birds and have their bit of fun! I greased the pole, after finding Charlie peering at me through the window!
Much scampering and scratching was had by all...
until the shadows lengthened and they all sought comfort in their roosts and nests!
So refreshing...
I longed for peace!
and was embraced....
Always astounded by God's Creation!
that remind of Eden...

I will be inland this weekend so will have to deal with around 90's. It will be around 82 to 84 at my house. Can't make it any worse for this time of year. Dews are going up and humidty. Today was the last day of cooler temps...

Bam Weather is saying the analogs are indicating a March blow torch for the Central US. Shades of March 2012?

Nah... Looks too wet

Seems like the dry areas will be concentrated over the Northern Plains. This could lead to drought and a hot summer in the Central US

The next few days will be in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s away from the lakeshore

Great, can’t wait for the annual Spring Flood, mud, and swamp fest in the Ohio Valley. I better get things done outside in the yard this afternoon.

The rain part is standard for March, to be expected.

This weekend warmth is too much. I would like nights in the upper 40's and days in the 60's forever, but I guess, I'm living in the wrong spot.

Try coastal Central California, around Lompoc or Morro Bay
