To be fair, I’m heading out of town myself in a week.
I go to the cape Saturday morning and come back Sunday evening. It’s my parents house

Well, one could argue that's exactly what's happening. Just need to clarify what "the right decision" is.

It seems like some people are going to remote places in main and nh. I’m not sure why the cape has drawn so many crowds. I know there’s the beach but the beach is all over the east coast. Must just be easier access or something.

I really thought this would be a quiet summer down the cape. How wrong I was.

There was a NATIONAL shutdown? When was that? I must have missed it.

Isnt that pretty much the same thing as going on "vacation"? Just less time?

She's not going to a hotel or airbnb. And her family is probably isolating while there.

It doesn’t feel like much of a vacation. House, beach, walks, a little fishing, gone out to eat outside 3 times.

I thought it was still at 2% for the 7 day average. You really can’t base it off today with 30 tests reported. That will change over the next few days.

Going to an AirBnB would probably better than exposing ones parents. Also, I believe this person posted about dining out on the cape, so not isolating. I’ve got no problem with their vacation, but don’t be a hypocrite and complain about others.

Ratting is underrated. My friend has a terrier that is great at it.
