The south shut down far too early which is why one size fits all does not work. The south should have shutdown in June/July, not April/May.

Was there a meeting of all the superintendents of schools today or something? Both my sister's superintendent and the superintendent of our school came out today saying they will be recommending the hybrid plan to the state for final approval. We actually don't know what our school's final hybrid plan looks like, but I feel like more schools will likely be rolling out the same message...

Wrong. Had the whole country shutdown for the same period in April / May, and shut down all domestic travel, we could have averted this.

Lack of a national strategy is what's differentiated the losers (US, Brazil) from the winners (Germany, China, Australia,...)

Why is out of the question to shut down again? I’m so irritated by the people who’ve continued to go on vacation.

No national leadership/plan/clue, everything piecemeal to the states.

God forbid people just make the right decision on their own.

Haven’t you been to the Cape a few times?

To be fair, I’m heading out of town myself in a week.

Yes, plans are due. Public announcement of the plans is in a week or so.

Whats notable here however is a noticeable uptick in positivity rate.
