I thought they claimed “catch up” for the last 3 days.

Either way, the positivity rate has started to solidify into a uptrend now. Bottomed our at 1.7% now climbing past 2.1%

If this is sign of an increase, then number of hospitalizations should start the level and tick upwards in the next 7-14 days or so. Right now it still looks to be dropping there

Apparently there was an unauthorized football camp taking place in Weymouth and it spread there. Also a 90 person prom party in cohasset.

It's hard to believe we peaked at 33% positivity rate at one point in April! I was glad to hear Baker sound almost p***ed yesterday at the upward trends in cases and positivity. It means we as a state have set our standards very high, and will react well before it becomes another all-around emergency. Having said that, I too am very nervous about the influx of students (and parents) from hotspot states.

I think I ate lunch there once, if it's the place I am thinking of. Pretty expensive. Good thing I wasn't paying!

I’m surprised “Maskachusetts” isn’t a thing.

Well, not good.

353 new cases, positivity rate going up, and two days of positive hospitalizations. ICU cases up too.

I think people predicted this would happen once the weather got warm and people let their guards down and socialized more.

Like I said earlier we were invited to a party for a 3 month old baby today. Why anyone would want to put their baby in harms way is beyond me. In the end i guess it’s the older people attending the fiesta who likely have more to worry about. No one in my family went.

I’ve definitely noticed people are a lot more lax.
