The problem is between their ears. I had the same situation and just didn't arbitrarily decide after 1 week that the system wasn't working and then panic.
I can’t agree with them on panicking, but we shouldn’t be complacent that what was provided for MA residents was normal or acceptable, either. It clearly wasn’t an impossible ask given that other states were able to rise to the occasion. If the bad isn’t spotlighted and called out, it won’t get any better next time it’s needed.

Yeah online systems can be a pain but come on now if you give it a bit of time. The biggest pain I think was the age vs vocation issue. CT did it from older to younger and I think it worked well. When you say "first responder" and everyone and their grandma thinks that some DD employee that makes coffee for a DPW commission is essential then something is wrong. I used to see that with snow storms. Remember the blue laws? Thanksgiving doesn't allow retail technically. but if you sell gasoline or have a pharmacy you kinda can.

We've come a long away. We have two great vaccines, another that is ok and another that might not be here (astra zenaka). china admits theirs doesn't work as well and with Russia who knows. Say what you can politically but there are others in much much worse shape than the USA. Taking a vacation in florida vs southern france isn't exactly going to hurt us.

Agree. If you're in the US, UK, or Israel, there's not much to complain about right now in terms of the vaccine, relative to the rest of the world.

J&J in the trials had 100% efficacy against hospitalization and death. 85% effective in preventing severe illness. That's much better than "just OK".

Agreed, all 3 options are excellent choices.

I am, and my post history reflects that clearly. We do have a mask mandate. It is not obeyed, generally.

I would not be proud of that fact. It shows a lot of disdain for your fellow citizens.
