I can't believe you make these kinds of statements AND say that the big problem is that others talk beyond what they really know. I've made a few posts, tried to explain some things, shed some light for those who might have an open mind. I can't keep going back and forth with you on this.

Unless you have access to the same data, which I'd guess you don't, then you can't claim superior (or even equal) knowledge...regardless of your credentials.

You are just unbelievable. You are interpreting information that you believe the FDA has access to and what they are thinking - you don't know any of that! It's ridiculous. I am going to introduce you to my ignore list. Some people here offer far more heat than light - not worth the aggravation.

Ok. I tried to have a reasonable discussion with you.

White House, Fauci defend health agencies' call to pause Johnson & Johnson vaccine

"White House Covid-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients and Dr. Anthony Fauci on Tuesday defended the decision by the FDA and the CDC to pause administering the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine, saying the federal agencies are following the science."

I’m sure there are folks across the country who have medical anxiety who are currently having panic attacks over this right now. Hopefully more information is forthcoming at some point.

Just read that the pause is a recommendation, not a mandate. Also believe I read that doctors who are giving the vaccine can still elect to give the shot to patients they deem are not at risk. I would imagine there is some guidance circulating that the general public is not privy to.

States scramble to halt Johnson & Johnson vaccinations after CDC and FDA recommend pause

"In an email sent to states and public health jurisdictions, the CDC instructed vaccinators to hold any Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine until further instructed.

The CDC says in the email that approximately 220,000 J&J doses were expected to be delivered on Tuesday. According to the CDC, that supply should be stored between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, and lots are to be labeled "Do not use. Awaiting guidance."

In addition to reiterating to not use the vaccine, the CDC told vaccinators in the email that unfilled orders of J&J vaccine would not be immediately filled, and no new orders would be accepted.

The email, reviewed by CNN, was received by someone involved in the national vaccination effort."

"Both CVS and Walgreens will also stop giving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for now, representatives for the pharmacy chains said."

A friend of mine worked at Wyeth when they bought out American Home Products. Remember Fenfen? Yeah it worked but it also made heart attacks.

The drug industry is a damned if you do damned if you don't industry. If you rush something and there's side effects it makes you look bad. If you take too long and others die you still look bad.

To the vast majority of people that received J&J they are fine. If it's 0.0001% that shouldn't get it that's what we're waiting for. Ever deal with people in manufacturing? This is like Six Sigma. Sometimes you cannot get 100%. My family has a background in environmental protection and if you want a vapor recovery system with a parts per billion of 0 that's probably never going to happen. So no a "ND" (non detectible) will probably not be issued but come on now let's be realistic. If you have a sensitive enough system you can probably find something on a smaller level.

Certainly doesn't sound like something that's "paused for just a few days".

This vaccine passport thing is catching on. This'll be very interesting, because the demographic that dominates in-person NFL attendance, especially in Buffalo, is likely heavy on the "not gonna take no stinkin' vaccine" side of the ledger. Opens the floodgates IMO and wouldn't be surprised to see Gillette come out with a similar policy.
