It’s been incredibly dry here in western Washington so far...kinda crazy. Everyone is talking about how unusual it is. I’ve been here going on 3 years and it’s nothing like previous years. November is typically the wettest month and so far uhh nothing...nothing at all. Even October was incredibly nice. Barely any rain at all so far.

Strangely seems normal to me. October was nice but there are always some nice days in October. November doesn't have much rain but has 8 rainy days so far, which is normal.

The forecast for Seattle doesn't have much rain, though. Maybe fall is normal but winter would be warmer and drier than normal due to El Nino.

Even though no snow here this month....yet, I have to say the pattern and cold around feels like a front loaded winter. Now we got that PV split and ............ Lets do this properly! Dec-Jan-Feb. Spring in March!

I was just about to post that! Bring it on!!

Evidence is mounting that any warm up will be short lived and not much above normal for us.

You Florida residents will never have to worry about being buried in ice. In fact I suspect that Florida will become even more of a tropical paradise than it is now. Just stop griping about the weather in your area and own it

Never gonna own it. Already the coconut line has moved 31 miles more to the north since 1980. I expect coconut palms in south Ga within 30 years.

I would gladly take a mild and dry winter over a cold and dry winter. I feel bad for California and the West Coast, if this pattern is a preview for the upcoming winter season on the west coast then I am begrudgingly predicting that it is a very real possibility that The west Coast and especially California will be in even more dire straits in terms of drought and wildfire problems come next spring and summer should real significant rainfalls not come to fruition. Poor California with all those wildfires

20 years of no rain = fires.
