Speaking of #DayAfterTomorrow

WTH?

GFS saying it will go from 50°F & rain Sunday morning to 5°F Monday morning. Flash Freeze?

Hartford

NYC. Same. Lows 50s to teens in 24hrs.

That.....would....be....wicked!!! I might have to stand outside for 12hrs if that happens.

Another lousy day in Austin. Cloudy, no rain, 45 degrees on the way to 52. At least tonight was above 40 unlike last night.
Most all Citrus is gone anyways thanks to greening sickness. Every tree in my hood got sick and died years ago. Back when it got to 19f in Tampa it killed a lot plants.

Today was low clouds off and on and a high around 59f. No rain yet and it is getting dry.

Midnight temperatures in Central European Time between 15-16 January:

The Baltic Sea is finally cool enough for a -4°C night inland rendering temps around or even below freezing offshore. While this most certainly won't last long, this does however leave Nyköping in the crosshairs of potential cold snaps if the wind direction is on for that. Notably, the air temps between Iceland and Norway are currently rather low as well and Northern Sweden inland is below -20°C in many places. That's far from the case in the deeper peninsular Sweden, where I live, however. It's around -4°C to -5°C, which is a standard January low. On the other hand, European Russia is rather mild for the season at the moment.
