If the east had the same anomalies of warmth and lack of snow we've seen over the past decade, this whole forum would be lit up with discussions over climate change.
The warm west/cold east pattern has seemingly become a climate normal now. Yet no one questions whether this is due to climate change. I wonder why...

February 2017 we had a week of temperatures that reached 70 degrees when the normal high are in the mid 30s. We had rooftop bars and restaurants open when they are normally closed for 3+ months
and this past December was +5.5F above normal so it's not like we aren't getting large positive anomalies here as well. Maybe just not for as long as in duration. We're swing major swings in temps. November was -5.7F below normal. And as of the 13th, this month is +7.4F above normal, this will surely be cut down as cold temps will dominate the last 10+ days of the month.
Quite cold by this weekend and the outlooks says the cold will stick around with Means of 5-8C below average from the around the 19th to the 29th of this month. Maybe even colder than that beyond the 29th..... Also, looks very snowy as well. Winter paid us a visit in November, went on hiatus in December, and is now coming back full force.
Djibouti has average maximums more than 100°F for summer.
But do they have a reverse west wind flow with gulf water temps over 90f? Do the dew points even come close? 100 would feel better than 96f if the dew points are lower.
Maybe he lives in some kind of alternate reality Florida that we don't know about
This is about the worst nitemare anyhwere on the planet janet. Look at these figs. Looks how dry the month was and how much above normal the temps are and look at them lows of 77 to 82f. Everyday had dew points above 74 to 84f. No place worse in the U.S. jess. Look at all the high sunshine % days. No one get more sun than i do.
