2. Rain hitting Southern California right now

3. Dry air moving into Louisiana and Arkansas and getting injected into the Mid West storm soon

4. Good atmospheric lift pushing ahead of this beautiful b-leafy comma cyclone...

^^^^

Lol Austin Texas isn’t much warmer than Fort Worth in spite of the fact that there is a 10 to almost a 12 degree difference in temperature between the two cities this afternoon, both cities are solidly Subtropical climates.

Latest Euro just out. 24hr snow total next weekend.

Now this I can believe. Heaviest stays south of NYC-Hartford-Boston. #WhyNot

Its going to come down to timing, angle and position of that front coming across and where the low develops.

Your area is becoming closer to Subtropical by the week. Usually your area sees moderate to strong seasonality; now it seems like much of coastal southern New England is becoming like the mid south area of the lower 48.meanwhile here in subarctic Indiana snow is falling and even right now I would say that the snow pack is several inches thick.
