EC looks much better for me.


Also how the hell do you get EC data past 240 hrs?

The GEFS has been leading this whole winter with a faster SSW, and quicker cold coming.



Looks colder than average, but still tolerable for me in the depths of winter.



now if this was March I would hate it.

you have to subscribe to get ensemble model of Euro past 10 days. I have access to it.

Where do you live?
Tucson. I have a subscription that allows me to see datail and lots of different parameter and types of displays but still only 240hrs


Edit: Oh was his graphic ensemble data? I must not have looked closely enough. I get EPS (euro ensemble) up to 46 days.

Euro opeational does not provide past 10 days, only eps.

El Nino seems to be another flop on the rainfall. I don't see any real rain for a long time and this month is about half over rover. Warm this weekend and back to cooler weather next week, but no upper level energy or lift.

High was 28F at IKK, 25F at MDW, and 24F at ORD today. Cold last couple days, and will remain more typical of January until the weekend, then above normal early next week for a few days.
