Not sure why they have 60s there. Interesting.

Over performing in NYC today.... Heat that is. Forecast High of 47 yet its 52° right now. LMAO. So 3 days of 50s and sun this week. Enjoy.

yea, thought it wouldn't get that warm till tomorrow. Tuesday still has a chance of 60s. Oddly only NYC and Boston area now have a chance of 60°F +, at least north of Philly

Good to hear! Seattle looks to be the big winners out of this event. GFS spitting out 10cm+ for some areas of the city.

You will in the summer. LA gets its rain in the winter, you in the summer. It is what it is.

In Indianapolis, we went from tying the record low of -11 Wednesday morning to tying the record high of 62 Sunday afternoon! What a crazy week of weather. This coming week remains mostly warm and wet with 1-4 inches of rainfall possible tomorrow night to Thursday night. There is now concern with ice jams along some of the rivers that froze over. We could see some major flooding.

Austin update. Yesterday (Super Bowl Sunday) was mild, low of 62 and high of 73. At my local bar where I watched the Super Bowl they had all the doors and windows open and the fresh air flowed through.

Last night was in the mid-60's. First night since the fall that the furnace didn't come on last night. That should save on my gas bills.

Slightly warmer today, 76 and cloudy. Dewpoint 64F so juicy air for this time of year. Currently 65F with 96% humidity. My skin is finally soft again!

I got mulch placed out this weekend and bought two sago palms that I will plant next weekend after the cold snap Thursday and Friday in the upper 30's. They are outside in pots now, I'll bring them in Thursday night.

Edmonton has reported snow falling for 71 out of the first 80 hours of February thus far. This has at least stopped temperatures from plummeting any further. Currently -28.2°C but areas north of us are extremely cold. The cold spot in Alberta (and Canada) is Teepee Creek near Grand Prairie at -46.1°C/-51°F.
