That's about what it was here yesterday morning and compared to the previous two days with the wind chill in the -40 (both C and F) range, it really did feel warm!

During the summer I couldn't care less about being outside in the 85 F garbage, because I'll be sitting in front of the A/C in my office for 15 hours/day anyways, including weekends (notice I almost never post in summer, since the weather isn't worth a damn at that time). So that's the real time to get work done, while winter is the time to enjoy life.

Forecast slightly improved: only seeing 2 days above 10C now.
So do you only get exercise in the winter? Do you gain weight in the summer if you are not active? Even in the winter (which I hate) I try to get some time outside to get Vitamin D, you need at least 15 mins of sun a day winter or summer. You need to have a routine that works year-round not only winter or you will suffer health problems when you are older. Working 15 hours a day isn't a good life. You will suffer a breakdown with that kind of attitude.

I advise that you try to get out in the summer too. Sweat it out, the A/C will feel really cold when you get back.

The polar vortex "drained" the arctic of its cold air, it's gonna be a warm one. Loving it!

-22°C is 38°C colder than the lowest warm temperature (16°C). So you'd wear shorts at -22?

Lousy day. Rain/mist most of the day and only 62F achieved but 69 forecast, the weathercasters over forecast heat like they always do.

Had to switch back to long sleeved shirt. Didn't even break a sweat chopping wood.

Supposed to be 76F tomorrow but I doubt it. 81 expected Monday, hope that happens.

Lucky you. I hate that summer is back. That musk rat must have saw his shadow and means no more winter for me.

The snow seems to have cleared out for once and for all and the skies have cleared. There's a good chance Edmonton will reach -30°C for the first time this winter tonight. This is rather late in the season for this milestone.

Environment Canada calling for -30°C downtown and -31°C at the airport. Usually there's a much bigger spread between downtown and the airport so I'd say either it will stay warmer than that downtown or it will get colder than that at the airport.

Chicagogeorge sure has been awfully quiet today. I wonder if he is waiting to see if Mother Nature is cooking up some more record cold arctic air outbreaks, I will enjoy the unseasonably mild weather while it lasts; Indianapolis made it to 46 F today, it was only supposed to make it to the lower 40’s but the day was sunnier than expected. Tomorrow and Monday are forecast to be in the 50’s, then Tuesday is supposed to be in the 40’s, then rain for Wednesday and Thursday before it gets colder again next Friday and Saturday.
