TWN, Canada's TWC, is calling for 5 consecutive sunny days for Toronto next Wed-Sun Never trust a forecast showing a long stretch of sunny conditions during winter in this part of the Great Lakes! Yes, a piece of the PV is going to sit on top of us, and it would typically result in brutally cold but dry and brilliantly sunny days, but the lakes will always find a way to snow or keep us cloudy
As we get closer, watch it turn cloudy or snowy for *at least* 2 of those days
Couple days after the "Polar Vortex" it goes well above normal. This is why I'm hesitating doing a thread. Is it worth it for couple days? Would be fun to track it and see what happens.. Should we?
Don't mean to spoil the fun but here's GFS for temps Monday the 4th. 50s in Ohio and Virginia. 40s in Western NY
The Polar airmass coming (which is impressive) might not last long.
59F for a high here today. Low lat system that will bring a chunk of upper level energy south of me starting Sat nite and Sunday. Looks like the core rain will miss me to the south. I may get lucky and get clipped with a tiny bit. But peeps 70 miles of me will get much more and even more 120 miles to my south.
