^^^^^^^

Sheesh, everyone who keeps harping about what a bad winter we are going to have/and or how much the eastern two thirds of the lower 48 States deserves a break from these unusually severe winters, I swear that you posting on here this comment will ensure that much of the United States east of the Rockies will have an even more severe and longer lasting winter season than would have been the case if you had not posted this drivel, thanks.

I’m hoping for a moderately cold, snowy winter. We average about 30 inches of snow per winter, but I’m hoping we get around 50 to 60 inches this season.

Me too! Same average, Same hope.

In fact if 60" happens in 4 weeks like Dec 26, 2010 -Jan 27, 2011 did...I'll be fine!

Front Loaded winter and an early Spring, I wouldn't mind. Lets do this.

Oh... too soon. Hopefully we start seeing the snow and arctic air on the map. Nothing next 10 days.

Big time snows are now hitting Siberia and snowpack is rising at a rapid pace

Signs are pointing towards a pretty harsh winter for the eastern two thirds. Just hope the East Coast doesn't hog all the snow...

OMG I would take that any day over the horrible march and aprils we have been having. Winter is supposed to be in winter, not spring. Dec, Jan and Feb are winter like they used to be, not Feb March and April. That is too depressing. Cold for skiing, cold for the holidays is fun, not in springtime please.

An old song but appropriate: (and no I don't remember this song, only found it last year lol).
