Signs are pointing towards a pretty harsh winter for the eastern two thirds. Just hope the East Coast doesn't hog all the snow...
I love how these long range forecasters update their forecasts all winter long them make excuses when they are wrong. They are all just long shots. Only good forecast at best is ensembles two weeks out.
historically the polar vortex would disrupt due to SSW about once every three years. How come now it is almost every single year? It did last year, 2014, 2015 and 2017. It can't do this every year and you people still deny global warming. It has often been said these attacks of warm air are disrupting the vortex and more of them will come with a warming arctic. proves global warming to me.

I never denied global warming. I question the model a accuracy of global warming projections on a regional basis.
Why does everyone hate the late winters? I for one enjoy snow in March and April. Snow is snow, no real problem with it.
