Yup, I was right.. it wasn't just heavy rains for 1-2 days. It was pretty frequent. At many points like every 3 days. We barely had 6+ days without rain. Check out NYC number of days with precip (not including the Trace's). A record

This is what it looked like in Albuquerque, New Mexico yesterday morning. A BLIZZARD WARNING was in effect.


Parts of the state will saw 12-18 inches of snow with this storm, wind gusts up to 40 mph.


Freeze Warnings have also been posted just south of Las Vegas

Same for me. Dec of 89 was very active and cold with lows of 25f in Tampa at Xmas. And BOOM right to super hot for Jan thru March. I was hard fishing offshore in Dec of 89 since it was so rough.

This mornings Upper Height Pattern. Rocky Mountains must of shrunk. Jet stream continues to dip south to Mexico. Cold air spilling in from the north all the way down. While the core of the ridge is over South Florida.
Still snowing in El Paso.


This is not how it supposed to be!! lol. FLIP IT!

US HWY 70 is closed from Tularosa to Ruidoso....

US HWY 82 is closed from near Alamogordo to Cloudcroft...

Lot’s of snow in southern NM....

Even usually mild Las Cruces and El Paso with 3 inches of snow.
