Wow, just saw where NWS Lake Charles is even mentioning possibility of wintry precip next week.

Quote:
DISCUSSION...
The cold front is currently pulling up stationary in lower
Acadiana with showers and thunderstorms training across this
region. There is still potential for some heavier rains during the
overnight.

Rains will diminish tomorrow...however this will be brief with
the next batch of rainfall beginning by Saturday as the next wave
develops along the front and a warm front moves to the north with
off and on rainfall through the weekend into Monday.

A possible break on Tuesday...however precipitation is expected to
develop again Wednesday. This one will have some cooler air with
it and there are some hints at possible wintry precipitation
Wednesday.
Will continue to monitor over the next several days.

Didn't see this posted 9 days earlier (obviously due to the Great Firewall of China, and because I don't look at Seattle's weather on Twitter often) but I might as well share it to you now.

Rain. Rain. Rain. Looks like I'll finish the year with close to 70 inches of precip.

Snowing in Maine down to the coast at least.

Very mild out this morning. Already 53 degrees in Indy. But today will see falling temps. By the time I head home from work at 5 it will be down into the upper 30s. Dry and seasonal for the weekend with rain returning Sunday night through Monday. Warm enough even Sunday night for a very cold rain. Cold mid-week next week with highs Wednesday only in the 20s. But dry and warming up by next weekend. Definitely going to finish the first 2 months of the snowy season in Indy with less than an inch of snow, about 7 inches below normal for this time of the season.

Look like the PV split will effect Europe and a smaller line in New England
