This will be a record dry and hot winter for my area. I called this a year ago. Almost as bad as 2016-17 when we had no rain at all from Oct to May in my area.
I have nothing more to say about what I think is set to happen this winter other than the fact that I know that it more than likely won’t be mild. I will say that I expect near normal temperatures at the warmest. Indianapolis really hasn’t had a super mild winter since 2001-2002 especially 1997/1998, I suspect that the winter of 2018/2019 will be the worst of both worlds, at least in the Indianapolis area.
Been outside today to enjoy the mild(ish) weather today, the **** hits the proverbial fan tomorrow night and especially Monday and all of next week. Currently it is in the lower 50’s as of 2pm local time(Average high for today in Indianapolis is 48 F), Indianapolis has a distinct possibility of being in the upper 50’s to near 60 tomorrow before the cold front moves in tomorrow night.

Bastardi is usually delusional and lives in his own fantasy bubble world. He got fired from Accuweather, and now forecasts for energy industry interests.. He just follows the money trail. Of course global average temperatures are on the increase.
