I like how you are all aboard the JB train this year when his forecast has support from many others. Previous Years you were not the most supportive when he was out on a limb claiming it’s going to be cold. I like how you pointed out he made available in August... I'm on the JBTran, the Ben Noll train, and the Kirk Hinz train because they are all showing a very interesting winter based on the analogs.

The reason I pointed out his August forecast is because it was months before models such as the CFS picked up on it. Let's see if it's accurate. He nailed this autumn

I wished i could jump on a train. I just flat and warm for FL this winter.

That ridge down there is starting to tick me off.

Such an active pattern with moisture from the pacific but the storm tracks (blue) are not digging south enough! Not good for snowstorms in the East. (South of New England)

At least California is getting rain now.

Yep, looks like an Aleutian low/Alaskan votex pattern setting up shop. Warm pacific air will spread east .
