Sorry, no. Roughly 2/3 of Christianity - all the flavors of Catholicism plus some Protestants - believe that it is the avoidance of sin and repentance of sins committed, with restitution as possible, that allow entrance to heaven. Sola Fide is not Biblical. The phrase 'faith alone' does not appear anywhere in scriptures except in James where it is stated that it is wrong. The 'works' that Paul refers to in Romans 3 are in fact the rituals and practices of Jewish Law that Paul is arguing do not apply to Gentiles. Several places in the Gospels Jesus is explicitly quoted that it is moral charitable living that leads to eternal life, while downplaying his own role in the matter.
BTW I am not a believer, just knowledgeable about scriptures.
Avoidance of sin and repentance accompanies Faith. Well maybe I should have said, being born again.
However, true Faith would generally lead someone to that.
if god wants people to know he exists why not just show himself?
or at least send one of his representatives (angels) to appear before man?
to leave no doubt in anyone's mind that he is real? what is he afraid of?
that way no one can have any doubt. because as it stands there is still
not one shred of proof god exists beyond people's imagination and superstition.
Sure, if you won't be mad (you can't) if you die and discover that there is no god. At that point, your belief is even more worthless.
You answered your own question. There is no way I could possibly be mad. You on the other hand could be quite mad (that's not even the right word) if you happen to be wrong.
