Kidding aside, the most likely correct answer to the question is because gods are nothing more than a product of the human imagination.

This is so true!

I was once an unbeliever so I understand when people don't believe. I'm glad I know the truth now though. I feel very blessed.

Barring any really extraordinary circumstances, I'm sure Northsouth's parents know she exists. She's not asking God to prove God loves her, at least not at this point. She's asking for proof of existence. (Maybe the love question would come after that.)

perry335654 , just goes to show that if you converse long enough, you'll find something to agree on (even if not for quite the same reasons.

You have been corrected on this numerous times before. Happy to do it again however. Archaeology, at best, does nothing but show some of the locations mentioned in the Bible exist. That however does NOTHING to lend credence to the claim that events in the bible actually happened. The simple truth is that a vast majority of fiction can be verified by archaeology given they are set against the backgrounds of real places, real people and real events.

not necessarily. we cannot say for sure what would have happened if the
pharisees did not force the crucifixion. it is an unknowable proposition.

is all reality only a figment of human imagination ? surely not, for that to be true,
we ourselves would only be figments of our imaginations which is a logical impossibility.
thus, knowing we did not create the observable and unobservable realities, by deduction
there must be another power higher than us.
