I drove through western Shelton/northern Trumbull/southern Monroe today, and there are trees down everywhere. On WTNH last night they reported a "rotation" north of Trumbull, that area got hit pretty hard.

Yeap.. Checking the radar loop again there was some rotation near Danbury, Bethel, even Norwalk..

I had posted the slight rotation near Sagatuck during the event.

Very hard for Tornadoes to form with a squall line unless there are extreme winds from perpindicular direction.

This squall line came from the NorthWest so low level winds would have to be strong from the South.

Yeap... We were at 95 degrees 2 days ago. Currently around 60. A 35 degree drop as the day high.

Here are the current temps.

Notice the 80s just west of us in PA and the 50s north of I84 in CT.

Yep. Changed planes in Dulles on my way back from Europe today. I can't tell you how refreshing the 59 F felt when I landed, vs. the sweltering 88 F that I left behind (compounded by no A/C in the plane while it was on the ground).

I'm sitting here in a sweatshirt, windows closed, and not loving this weather! I have to agree with SCR, it's just dreary. We did need the rain, though.

I cannot believe how cold it is today!

I went out in jeans and a sweatshirt this morning, and I am now sitting here in sweats with socks on.

I actually contemplated turning the heat on, LOL. But I will just bundle up instead.
