*HEAT WATCH*
I'm sure advisories and warnings will go up but I'm giving a heads up of whats to come. Looks like its back again.

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY/...
A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TUE NIGHT...STALLING
JUST SOUTH OF THE AREA...THEN RETURNING NORTH AS A WARM FRONT ON
WED. STRONG UPPER RIDGE WITH SFC HIGH PRES MOVING INTO THE
MID-ATLANTIC WILL COMBINE TO BRING THE HOTTEST WEATHER OF THE SEASON
SO FAR TO THE TRI-STATE AREA FOR THE MID-WEEK PERIOD.

H8 TEMPS WILL WARM TO +20C...RESULTING IN HIGHS ACROSS NYC...THE
LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND NE NJ OF 90-95 ON WED AND AROUND 95 ON THU.
CT AND LONG ISLAND WILL BE ONLY MARGINALLY COOLER WITH HIGHS WARMING
INTO THE LOWER 90S BY THU. AREAS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST WILL TOP
OFF IN THE 80S.

THE RESULTING HEAT INDEX WILL BE 90-95 FOR NYC AND URBAN AREAS OF NJ
ON WED AND 95-98 ON THU. A HEAT ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED FOR NYC.

A SERIES OF H5 SHORTWAVES WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION...AND
ALTHOUGH THERE MAY BE AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM OR TWO...SUBSIDENCE
AND A DEEP WESTERLY FLOW WILL LIMIT CONVECTION.

The pattern does seem to have that old fashioned East Coast summer look to it.

Ridging aloft will build in fairly strong from Tuesday right to the end of the week, which will send temps into upper 80’s and upper 90’s for much of the East Coast lowlands. The dew points and humidity will increase as well under the more southwesterly flow. It should be really steamy by mid week:

Bet you all wish for snowstorms now....

Seriously, looks like Cambium was ahead of the NWS.....now they're saying (even for CT and even for the coast from New Haven on west at least) around 90 tomorrow, 95-100 Wed/Thurs and 90 for Friday before it cools back off. At least (for now) it seems to be somewhat short lived and not the whole month like I hear it's seeming to be down South.

If I never saw snow again in my life I'd be quite happy.

I actually seen it 10 days ago but totally ignored it by choice. LOL
Isn't weather discussion simple? Summer we talk about heat. Winter we talk about cold. Others are just here for entertainment.
