Finally snowing! Unfortunately we're right at sunset so only got to see it a little bit. Was sleeting for about an hour before shifting to snow. Decent rate actually, but it won't last long and ground temps won't cool to below freezing til later this evening.

Lake dropped 5 degrees in just 10 minutes. Still only 50. Mid 30s here.

What was the date of that report? Given the drop at the end of the period could that have been the progenitor of the cold front bearing down on central PA now? And how far north of Winterpeg do you live, Churchill?

That report was todays highs at XYH, but I changed it to Northwest Territories report page.

Have not updated the location in awhile, but now its 'Winterpeg area'. but last year it was further north i,e yellowknife and up, I experienced below freezing temps every month last year.

Nothing says Christmas like 60's and tornado watches! Almost ready to put the AC on.

Love this Christmas Eve weather in the 50s. Should hit 60 here tonight with lots of rain, upper 50s all day today and dry until now made for pleasant winter weather. Rollercoaster temperatures, 60s tomorrow and then a hard freeze. No low-elevation snow in the outlook though for NYC area

It lasted maybe an hour lol. Clouds already clearing up and right at freezing. Some isolated showers in Alabama, not sure if it'll amount to much by the time it gets here.

I was looking at timehop from a couple of years ago when it hit 76 on Christmas day. We did have to turn the A/C on Christmas eve. Only in the low 70s but it did nothing but rain so it was muggy and probably very stuffy since we couldn't open the windows with the rain.
