Well the "blue norther" ended up being a cold front with overruning so instead of sunny with highs in the 60's we had rainy and highs in the 50's. Skies have now cleared and low of 49 expected. High of 63 tomorrow under strong north wind. A decent day but would like less wind. Friday is 66 under sun and Saturday is chamber of commerce weather under sunny skies, low 70's. I'll be outside all day Saturday enjoying it.
Long range pattern looks good, some humidity creeping in the day after Christmas with a possibility of a thunderstorm. I hope it's warm and humid with lots of lightning and thunder. Love humidity in the winter, it gives my skin time to re-moisturize.
New Year's looks chilly but not like last New Year's when it snowed. The only time it snowed all year.
I like this winter so far, we took a hit in October and November and now we are getting some somewhat milder weather.
Frosty morning with a low of 19° here. Rain moves in later this afternoon.
Temps in the 50s and 60s tomorrow with strong wind gusts. Going to feel weird but it happens.
Whats funny is that even on the West side of this storm track, there's no snowstorm. Just not enough cold air around this time. Looks like the PacNW getting a big storm too.
After this Eastern Storm moves out looks like that Pacific storm starts diving Southeast over Canada and MIGHT produce an area of snow as a clipper for northern U.S for Christmas
Forecast 32°F, actual low 26°F, hate when that happens.
Heavy frost this morning, tropical rains later on today and into tomorrow. Shall be interesting.
Welcome to life outside the UHI, where if it’s clear subtract a few degrees from the actual forecast low lol.
