At least I got home before the line of heavy rain hit.

Looks like it will be a bit warmer this weekend with temps above 70F (normal high is 66F). There has only been one above normal high over the past two weeks.

Cooling down again Monday with a low near freezing.

Currently here at, Aurora, ME...16F Degrees, Dew Point 7F Degrees, Winds WNW 7mph. Clear and a Full Moon Waning....

Awoke to a 6F Degree morning...Rosey hues cast themselves across the Birch Meadows this morning, until an azure sky broke through...Watched the sun rise for the umptheenth time (yes, I know, I'm blessed), this morning...

Truth is I fell on a bit of black-ice at work while exiting my vehicle...It cost my employer an ouching two weeks pay, me...a bruise the size of a tennis ball.. I could confirm I landed on my RIGHT BUTTOCK (as Gump would say)! LOL!

So, within the past two weeks I've been continuing to receive orders on my Beloved's account...
(Beloved suffered a stroke in mid August, only to be home for a week, then to return in September for a more intensive (as they should have done), investigation as to WHY he had one in the first place)).

So, we've been reminded of how gifted Beloved is at woodcarving..Primitave and Rustic hand carved Spoons and other Wooden Kitchen Utensils (the way they carved them hundreds of years ago - when there was no metal to be found)! Opened an account for Beloved on Etsy and he's doing amazing!

Lesson learned and still learning...What may seem to be tragic at the beginning, may be a blessing in disguise!

Don't lose hope in those times of when you cannot see the end of the tunnel...
Look for the light...!

This will be our most dry fall ever this year. I knew that 60% of rain they called for today would be nothing days ago. With that dry air aloft and that stuck high to our east rain just can't make it this far west.

Yup. I don't think we'll experience this type of air mass in November for a long time. I probably wont be on CityData by then.... Then again... maybe I will.

Been a while. Nice to see you again. Sorry to hear about the Fall! Hope you recover nicely. Wishing you and your spouse good thoughts.

It's currently 49 F out as of 10:30 AM and the forecast calls for a high of 67 F later today. The NWS seems to have some trouble at times when it comes to stubborn Cold Air Dams (CADs) Time to see if the CAD relents and the warmer air is able to force it's way in.
