This mornings 850mb temps. -10C 5000' over D.C. We don't see a -20C air mass even over New England this time of year.

Zoomed out with Upper Heights.

Currently 18 F/-8 C with a windchill of 7 F/-14 C. Only expected to reach 23 F/-5 C today and tonight may drop down to 5 F/-15 C which would break the all time record low for the month of November!

If only there was big blocking in the North Atlantic. This air would of lasted more than 2 days AND pushed further south too.

As this Polar Air moves out it actually squashes the Atlantic ridge. Watch loop below!

Also, watch the next piece of Arctic air dive down into the U.S.

Today to 27th. Another Arctic blast coming next week. Not as cold.

Something very interesting to me. Watch the entire Polar airmass over the Arctic totally shift East towards Europe. (focus on the whites (-20C)

Don't forget to focus on the Cold Upper Low over Quebec today and where it goes.

Coming up...............

Front with Rain in East Saturday-Sunday while Snow in Nebraska. Note the big storm over Oklahoma. Where will it go? Lets see...............

GFS says its a lake Cutter. Not good for Northeast snows! So more rain for here Tuesday.

Area I circled in blue has potential to see a big snowstorm/blizzard conditions Monday! Chicago missing it by like 200 miles!

So what happens with that Midwest storm and that new coastal storm developing Monday? Lets see..............

GFS says mid west storm stalls and transfers energy and cold air into the coastal storm. This would be a blizzard for New England.

Edit: look what Canadian says! Chicago! Doesn't dig south with the storm so the track favors Chicago getting hit with snow
