I would die for one cloudy day a year. We used to have cloudy days for 3 to 4 days in a row in the winters back in the 80's. It is so rare to even get a cloudy here the last 7 years.
Lemme get this straight, you reside in the sunshine state; and would like less sunshine?.
For the past week I've been freezing my ### off putting up holiday lights, we didn't even have a Fall.
But rather an extra month of Winter tacked on early.

People always seem to want something they don't have.
People always seem to find problems with their climate, no matter what climate they live in.

We don't have a fall winter or spring anymore. Just hot and hotter year round.
fires done in California; if they had gotten this a month ago, there would have been 0 wildfires or at least wouldn't have spread and been quickly put out

How true that is for me, I'm one of the few that retired out of Florida; got tired of the humidity.
Only now I'll be shoveling apparently, as I'm in the 8-12" area: https://www.weather.gov/lot/2018Nov25_WinterStorm

In Naples 20 years ago there were only 2 seasons; summer and winter.
But it got much colder then, every winter. And even that far south we would get our first cold front by Nov. 1st at the latest.
Yet basically the entire country has been below normal for a month, barring Florida.
You were supposed to turn cool and wet according to long-range forecasting, we shall see.

I blame positive tilted troughing for that. It's the reason places like Brownsville, Texas got to see freezing temps before most areas of Georgia did.
