It's currently 55F in Plum, PA and it finally feels like fall here! Tonight's low is forecasted to drop to 41F, tomorrow's high is only 49F! Leaves are really changing now!

Pretty much the exact same temp here in Toronto right now,
big drop from 22C high early this morning, kinda funny seeing people wearing
still weatinb t-shorts today (as I did until mid-day) this evening...they are tougher
than me...it’s cold now, with a strong north wind....jeans and jacket time for me.
More snow possible for Edmonton tomorrow. Lots of wind too--travel could get messy.
Cold again on Saturday after the clipper but then much warmer next week. Let the pattern shift begin!

ALBERTA...BEGINNING FRIDAY MORNING, AN ALBERTA CLIPPER IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP OVER NORTH CENTRAL ALBERTA AND MOVE QUICKLY TO THE SOUTHEAST THROUGH CENTRAL REGIONS AND TRACK INTO THE MEDICINE HAT REGION BY LATE AFTERNOON. THIS SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO BRING A BRIEF PERIOD OF MODERATELY WARMER AIR BEFORE ANOTHER COLD FRONT PASSES. AS THE COLD FRONT PASSES, RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW. THE QUESTION REMAINS AS TO HOW FAST, CURRENT GUIDANCE APPEARS TO BE SLOW WITH THE TRANSITION. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE SYSTEM IT IS EXPECTED THAT PHASE TRANSITION WILL LIKELY OCCUR EARLIER THAN INDICATED. AS A RESULT WE WILL TRANSITION EDMONTON AND AREA TO SNOW NEAR NOON INSTEAD OF THE MODEL GUIDANCE SUGGESTION OF MID AFTERNOON. AT THIS POINT SUB-SEVERE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED, WITH REGIONS TO THE NORTH OF EDMONTON COULD SEE SNOWFALL 5-10 CM MARK. THE MORE SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ELEMENT HOWEVER, WILL BE THE WIND. CURRENT MODEL GUIDANCE IS SUGGESTING THAT WIND GUSTS WILL REACH WARNING LEVELS SOUTHEAST OF THE CITY OF EDMONTON. WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED EXCEED 90 KM/H STARTING LATE FRIDAY MORNING OR EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN THE RED DEER AND SPREAD SOUTHEAST TO MEDICINE HAT BY LATE AFTERNOON. IN ADDITION, STRONG WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE MOUNTAINS FOR THE PINCHER CREEK TO KANANAKIS CORRIDOR AS WELL AS THE CARDSTON REGION, THESE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TOMORROW MORNING WITH GUSTS EXCEEDING 100 KM/H.
I bet Chicago will register a low of -22 F; that kind of cold would make the cold in Denver look like a piece of cake.
Can we please keep the Great Lakes around freezing for a bit until my blood has a chance to thicken haha.
