Getting ready for temperature shock here, though my wife and I got a preview being up in Michigan this past weekend where temps were in the 50s. But here in Indianapolis it's been in the upper 80s the past 4 days and the high has not dropped below 78 the entire month of October so far. Starting tomorrow, highs for the next week will get no warmer than mid-50s with several days in the low 50s. Overnight lows falling into the mid to upper 30s means we may see our first frost later this week or this weekend. Our average first frost actually is tomorrow so we're surprisingly about right on schedule for that.

Actually, 61F is quite chilly when you've been dealing with desert heat all summer.
