NWS forecast for NYC. Thursday the last day of this heat. I'll assume tomorrow is for Chicago?
High was 85F at ORD, 86F at MDW, and 85F down here near IKK. Should reach low to mid 70s tomorrow but falling through the day, and maybe just 50 degrees for a high on Friday.

Sounds like a cool November shaping up... very much like 13-14. Cold then goes away for a very mild December only to come back later in the winter...

24 hour max was already reached at ORD just after midnight when it was 76F. Same at MDW where it was 75F. It's all downhill from here.

First 10 days of October have averaged +10.2F above normal at ORD, but all that will slowly disappear.

We'll be 35 degrees colder tomorrow than we were on Tuesday

Wind chills in the 20s by the weekend. By Tuesday our minimum temp will be near freezing. Goodbye mosquitoes. This has been one of the worst autumn seasons for mosquitoes around here in many years.

above average here, especially the lows. The cooler lows in late september were misleading and as usual we're back to high dewpoints and damp / clammy weather. 14c dp last night. Not great.

Some rain is finally expected for the next couple of days, highs should still be around 21-22c.

Yup. Probably. Was 2013-14 an analog year?
