It's a bit of a chilly 50 degrees out this morning here in Indy with a gentle breeze and overcast. We likely hit our high just after midnight last night when it was still 64. Don't expect daytime temps to rise above the mid-50s. Quite a change from the mid to upper 80s we'd been having this month until now. Maybe the fall foliage will finally start to take off. Most things are still green here. My stupid grass won't stop growing with the warmth and rain! Last weekend we were a couple hundred miles north in central Michigan where there was lots of color going on already.
Finally had our first real front move through Houston yesterday. Dew point in the upper 60s felt amazing with temps in the 80s. This morning looks to be about 65 for the low. It'll be Sugarland Airport's first day with a temp below 70 since May 17th.
The first strong front comes next Monday. Could have a high below 70 but it'll warm up again to the upper 70s by the end of that week.
