No idea but cold pattern doesn't usually hit until 10-15 days after a SSW event. So don't expect it until after the current 11-15 day forecasts

Split is coming and it's about 3 days away!! Who will get the brunt of the cold!? Looks like Eurasia and Europe and also western North America!

Don’t care where the PV goes as long as it stays away from here.

We heard this last winter from you George when it was supposed to sit over the British Isles. We got the cold, they didn't.

They said this one was exactly like the Jan 85 split when places in the deep south went into single digits and we had our second coldest temp ever recorded. God if only this could happen to Europe for once. That is all I ask for.

Places like Savannah had their coldest temp ever. I just know this will avoid Europe. I hate them. joking lol.

Why does this only ever happen in the northern hemisphere, not the southern? Jeez.

You would think as the southern hemisphere also gets warmer the warm pulses would attack their vortex and maybe send record setting cold to NZ and Australia for once.
