Yeah, horrible pattern. Its when I start saying might as well bring on spring. More rain here coming Sunday after lows near 20°.

Btw... I have faith in the models instead of the PV split hype. I dont think it comes far enough south for us to get intensely cold. But should prevent any big warm surges in NorthEast.

The last time Alexandria hit 80F was on December 22, but the warmest temp so far in 2018 is 72F. I'm hoping we can make it through February without reaching 80F.

We just got a heavy rainfall on February 6-7. 0.51" on the 6th, 0.57" on the 7th for a total of 1.08".

Seemed like more. The vast majority was from 10 pm - 1 am.

Currently 29 F / -2 C. In Uranium City, Saskatchewan, it's -11 F / -24 C!

February 7, 2018 Snowfall totals up to 7pm only. Was still snowing in northern New England after this so expect a higher total with new map update later. Impressive again in Southern Vermont, they had another 6"+ 2 days ago

You can always see a storm track with the snow totals.

Snow cover this morning. Iowa got a nice snowpack going on. Good for the farms!

By the way, yesterday morning I heard my first rumbles of thunder for 2018. The thunderstorms appeared to be borderline severe in west and middle Georgia, but in northeast Georgia it was just moderate to heavy rain with a little bit of thunder.

we would have gotten similar to southern Vermont if it didn't change over to sleet & rain here. I should check precipitation totals.
