Any blocking high is the worst for my area. 84f today and insane humid. Gulf water temps will see a rapid warm up and making it even worse.

SE ridge increases our chances for winter weather. However, this time around it will not.

You could go another 7 years before you see any winter weather. Been 8 years for us minus last Jan. One sorry month of colder weather out of 8 years.

Ohio Valley steel grey skies slop pattern of darkness at dawn, midday, and dusk. Give me snow on the ground and sunlight over this garbage.

Not in a million years. It’s true that damp cold is worse than dry cold at similar temperatures, but 40’s and rain is way more tolerable (and much closer to normal) than highs in the 10’s and 20’s.

We already did. Had to wait 8 years for a well below average month with lots of snow(December 2008 to December 2016).

This should tell everyone something is very wrong with the weather planet wide. This is more than any normal changes.

Whoa! 7am and its in the 60s in North Carolina!? Some neighborhoods in the 70s. Typical just out ahead of a cold front with the strongest southerly push.

It's 12C at 5000'.

In the single digits in Iowa and Snowing again in Chicago. It's hard for Chicago and NYC to get big snows at same time.

4th rain event here this month. 0.75" so far with this one as Waves of Low Pressures ride along the cold front.

I'm over 2.50" of rain this month already.
