Non existent thats what! Mid 50 gulf waters mid summer and you have 0 summer! Think coastal peru, pnw, bc, parts of aussie, and any location with cold waters in summer.

Fridays high upped to 76 under partly cloudy skies and a sw wind. Fayetteville is forecast 81... we have a good shot of hitting 80 this february for the second feb in a row. Our average first 80 degree day isnt till later in march so this would be pretty impressive to have back to back febs hit 80... month is quickly looking like feb 2017.

Maybe not. With a normal southeast windflow that we don't get anymore could give us super cells with the cold gulf water temps. Just think what 50's degree water temps blowing inland to around Brandon meeting the southeast flow around 3 to 6pm.

What used to be a our summer pattern was a southeast wind meeting the sea breeze front about 25 miles inland from the west coast. Since warm air will rise it would allow for the sea breeze to move eastward under and could cause super T storms with super high tops. But it would tame our reverse west wind flow.

Even with colder gulf temps i have seen insane dew points and humidity in Jan many times. Now take the gulf away and add a land mass to my west and i gotta wonder what that would change.

With that dead locked upper level pattern that rain will never make it. Like hitting a force field.

Which is more impressive? The 65 F over Philly today or the 87 F over Orlando?
