Great maps as always.

Interesting to see how warm Redding/Redbluff area in northern California is,
a pair of 50F lows and 61F highs at almost 41N ....about same latitude as NYC and
far warmer than any place at that latitude on the maps.

Not so unusual for NM huge diurnal range in southern New Mexico,
Carlsbad and Roswell with lows only in the teens but warming up to low 60s highs.
Heavy jacket early am to t-shirt in the afternoon

Even at Toronto Pearson it’s about -33F.

Really looks nice and peaceful up there.

All day is cloudy, around 02:00 PM was frozen drizzle, and 10 minutes ago the weak snow started on 1c.

A bit cooler than I was expecting today. 51F at about noon and overcast. NWS is forecasting a high of 68F, I guess expecting the clouds to break.

I'm hoping even and inch or so falls this upcoming weekend. Even that much would probably last at least a week with the upcoming cold snap.
