Currently here in Aurora, ME...14F Degrees, Dew Point 8F Degrees...Winds, NW 10mph...Been clear and beautiful all day!
After a brief snow-squall, yesterday morning, we had a clear day! Sought and found our Christmas Tree in our local community and stopped by our local Brewery for a pint and catch-up with the locals!
The birds have arrived enforce under our seed and suet feeders! Watched an esquisite sunrise this morning and enjoyed this day while we shopped for the necessities...So lovely are the snow cloaked Birch Meadows!
Awaiting for more snow to beautify on Tuesday!

Doesn't look like it got past 54F this afternoon; clouds never broke. Pretty large bust by NWS

I feel it would be difficult for there to be insane cold temperatures in that location if there isn’t any snowpack in those areas, the latest gfs Model is showing less than .25 inches of liquid equivalent in precipitation for much of the plains and the Midwest

Awesome here. 6pm temps. Teens here and at freezing back home. Was watching the Steelers-Patriots game at a local pub noticed it was raining. I knew the warm front was passing them there. Snow here tonight.

Thanks for bringing up the only thing that could make me more sick than a December thaw . Down to 2" snow cover, and 37°.

That sounds awesome.

Meanwhile in NYC... today was a stark reminder of how much above-freezing weather sucks ass. Just doesn't give you the same level of satisfaction every time you step outside. Would be below-freezing from Sept to May in an ideal world.

Looked briefly at airline tickets to Manitoba for next weekend. 700 ****ing bucks due to Xmas... will have to wait till January.
