Did you see the updated MJO? Yes! I got support for my thinking no Arctic air in east. Sucks I'll be right though. Lolol.

Slow and strong pass through phase 7 means warm East going into February now. I knew not to listen to the hype. might change after 1st week though

Thing is the 80s were an extremely anomalous period in themself so its not like we have been in some really warm period... in fact past 20 years are pretty normal... proof of that is to look at every decade prior to 1960... in fact we were more stable in the first half of the 20th century than we are now... this instability is a more recent feautre of 1960-1990 and now 2014 -??????
