I don't know if this will be the coldest air of the season for East Asia but probably will be for Southern China, Euro show 850hpa temperature below 0 over the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, which lies at the same latitude as Havana,Cuba.

Currently, here in Aurora, ME 9F Degrees, Dew Point 5F Degrees, Winds North 2mph, Clear..Low predicted for tonight 7F Degrees...
Under a Cobalt blue sky, we frolicked...The Birch Meadows beconed and we responded by dancing across her in joy and wonder..

Had some heavy rainfall overnight last night and rain continuing this morning. I'm at 1.48" right now. 58F (14C).

Flash flood warnings and watches down further south. 3.44" of rain at Lake Charles so far.

Another day near 50. Clouds rolled in this afternoon after a sunny start.


Its good the month is almost over otherwise the negative departure would be gone. lol


Still below normal temp with above normal snowfall for January

Current snow depth.. We need some snowstorms asap.


Caribou has 27" on the ground while Bangor has 2".


Still 3-6" in southern Vermont.
