Finally! After 3 weeks.

8:40pm-12:40am loop.

Note where the band of darker blues are. Nothing much going on north of NYC. I'm on the edge.

Wonder what Boston will end up with.

Just under 2" here.

As soon as sun comes up I'll take a few more, something tells me it will be picturesque. Sticking to everything.

This turned out to be a snowstorm for Long Island. The season of the 24hr changes. I was only supposed to get 1/2".

1:30-5:30am loop. 2 pieces of energy giving 2 regions snowfall. Coastal storm for coast and Ohio Valley storm

This mornings Upper Height pattern. The trough swinging in was 12hrs too slow. If it merged with the coastal storm we would of had a nice huge snowstorm.

Looks pretty zonal for Western U.S

Days are getting longer and the sun higher up. But we can still get darn cold even in March. Got down to 29 on March 3rd 1980 in Tampa. March used to be a cold and nasty month years ago. Seen upper 30's in Apirl and a 49 in May once.

I got quite a bit from this storm as well. Been very busy will calls this morning haven't had a chance to measure, but I'd guess at least 3 inches, maybe a bit more. Drifting making it hard to tell from the window lol. It's way colder this morning too, dropped to 15°

Mountains got a nice snow it looks like

Nice. Did you see Long Island and southeast CT? About half foot in spots.

Warm 28° here. only 0.11" liquid from this storm. And its snowball making kind. Heavy and clumpy.

no snow from this storm; just a gloomy day with bland, blank gray skies. Upcoming model forecast; the really serious cold mostly misses us, but it's too close for comfort; a small change could mean another arctic blast though not as long lived as the early January one

I am SOOOO done and fed up with the winter season in the Indianapolis area, barring a massive snowfall before the end of winter this year, this winter could well end up being an even bigger disappointment than last winter, still have only had a paltry 7.5 inches of snow this season.......talk about an epic failure of a winter when it comes to snow:smack : at the rate things are going now, I am just about ready to throw in the towel and just do away with this horrendous winter, enough already, I am almost completely giving up hope of getting even ONE moderate or major snowstorm this year, as I deferred above, at least in the Indianapolis area, it might as well be spring or summer rather than dealing with this huge fail of a winter-in all the worst ways too.
