Radar with Upper heights and surface pressure. Talk about perfect... Rain-Snow line staying off shore but storm close enough to bring the bulk of precip over the coastal plain.. Nice.

See those clouds over the Midwest - Ohio Valley and the little digging? That will swing into the Northeast and increase instability so precip should enhance more later on.

Awesome setup past 2 days!

With 2pm temps

The ridge out west has translated to persistent thick fog at the surface in Metro Vancouver. Barely a peek of sun with temps hovering around 0C during the past few days.

Really? Fog is so isolated. Like some places have bright sun, others have fog, but it's very localized.

Snow stopped here before and felt like it wanted to change to something else, but it started to snow lightly again..

I noticed Manhattan (not NYC, JFK, LGA) was reporting rain and Linden NJ, Atlantic City sleet or mix so something is going on up there... Maybe some warmth mixing in at some level.. Mostly snow everywhere else still... sun going down now
