Perhaps in Seattle it is. Here is a satellite photo from yesterday showing the Island and the Lower Mainland. Most of Metro Vancouver is shown to be shrouded in fog.

Fog is bad. It's worse than rain.

Nice to see so many states involved... Narrow swath but large coverage from south to northeast.

And we don't see North Carolina AND Maine getting snow at the same time often from same coastal system which is now off Delaware coast. That Upper Low about to push things east more now.

Looks like some areas of Long Island changed to rain or mix or sleet. Backedge close to Harrisburg now.
Marthas Vineyard been rain the whole time.

Yeah, saw it was rain before. The metars are up to the second so maybe it was an in between OBS moment where it had changed. Looks like it's snow now as the cold air filters in more but almost done there.

Not a flake here

Accuweather is saying an inch tonight with 3 to 6" on Monday Tuesday too, so hopefully I'll be joining everyone in on the snow.

Yeah, the backedge has remained steady like east of central PA. So western PA missed it. And yeah, that clipper looks nice Tuesday. I'm hoping the center of it comes south enough to bring more snow here. Need it to stay south of the border.

Just took my core sample..

5pm: 3.8" snow total. Melted to 0.33" liquid. (11:1 ratios)

Wonder what will be recorded as nothing stuck. Cold rain . How do they measure non sticking snow?
